  1. Why did you choose to intern with Jupiter?

I love the whole hustle vibe in a startup. It’s all about speaking your mind, watching the company and yourself grow side by side which is just beautiful for me.

What got me hooked on Jupiter was my curiosity about the fintech world. I hopped on board the Jupiter app early on, and man, it was cool! The user experience just blew my mind. But what really got me was that burning desire to peek behind the curtain and see what’s going on backstage. I wanted to rub shoulders with some sharp minds and dive headfirst into the action.

So, I reached out to Jupiter for an internship, hoping to soak up knowledge and get my hands dirty. Lucky for me, they gave me a shot, and the rest, as they say, is history :)

2. What did you learn during your internship?

For someone who is young and new, I couldn’t have asked for better company to begin with.

I started as an intern in the B2B Salary team, where I used to interact with customers on a regular basis and help them onboard on the Jupiter app. This made me learn about the product in and out, which later helped me collaborate with other teams to make changes in the product based on the customer feedback. It was like a crash course in how to handle people, be a people person, and just generally present yourself like a pro. I mean all the real exposure a newbie could ask for.

Later, I went on to take ownership in starting a Presales team in the B2B Segment where I delved deeper into understanding how demand generation works and built the lead funnels.

Diving a little deeper, I got to learn about various methods to generate leads through Email Marketing, Performance Marketing, using all sets of tools for bulk leads generation and much more.

Being in presales and post sales, I learned how a successful sales team scales things up and it was an eye-opener to say the least. So yeah, my internship was like a rollercoaster of learning and I loved every twist and turn of it!

3. What made you want to stay at Jupiter and work full-time?

The people I interacted with the company culture and my mentors made me stay. I had my fair share of internships and job opportunities but something about this spot just clicked with me.

What really motivated me was the work ethic my seniors had. They really treated the job as their own “dhanda”. I was both inspired and amazed by that attitude. In hindsight, It taught one of the most essential values of life which is taking the ownership of tasks.

So, I decided to pack my bags and move from Delhi to Bangalore. It was a daunting task but I couldn’t be more thankful as the entire process made me a true blue adult.

4. How has the transition been from intern to full time?

The transition from intern to full-time employee at Jupiter has been smooth and seamless. My tenure as an intern taught me the basics and I got the chance of becoming an integral part of the sales team. But as I transitioned into a full time role it got a bit challenging and I got the zing I was looking for.

As our friendly neighborhood Spiderman quotes, “With great power, comes great responsibilities”. I knew I had to work hard and excel. The journey wasn’t all bed of roses. Even though I have had my fair share of failures and mistakes just like any other rookie, It was the valuable guidance of my mentors and the will to never back down got me going.

5. What’s your favorite part about working here?

It has always been the people for me, I love how I can speak my mind, share my ideas and actually get to work on them. I’ve never felt like my ideas were too small or too crazy — they’ve always been welcomed with open arms.

Whether It’s my buddies at work or my awesome mentors, they’ve never shot down any problem I’ve brought to the table. It doesn’t matter if it’s late at night or during regular hours, they’ve always had my back. The support and camaraderie here are next level and I honestly can’t imagine finding this kind of culture, mentorship, and teamwork anywhere else. It’s like a big, supportive family, and that’s what keeps me loving every day at this place.

6. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to potential Jovian's?

Dekho, I’ll tell you a simple thing based on my own journey. This place is all about thriving and let me tell you, there will be a bunch of hurdles coming your way. But guess what? You’ll build the resilience to tackle them head-on.

The cool part is, you’ll witness your own professional growth unfold right before your eyes. Your ideas, your personality, and your mind — they’ll all expand and evolve. It’s a journey of self-improvement, and when you put your heart and soul into it, you’ll be amazed at the results.

One thing you can bet on is that the folks around here will make your journey exciting. It’s the people, their support, and their encouragement that will be your trusty companions along the way. So, dive in, give it your all, and watch yourself thrive.
